R & A ROSS TRANSPORT PTY LTD

R & A Ross Transport is privately owned company, with a group of efficient long term staff, based in Port Kembla and established some thirty years ago. The present fleet consists of twenty B-Doubles and ten single trailer trucks consisting of a mixture of taut liners, flat tops, extendables and drop deck trailers.

The fleet currently runs nationwide with the ability to service all Australian states with service to Brisbane, Melbourne and other capital cities as required.

Round 14 Cancelled

The SCAFL was thrown into chaos last weekend as all games were called off due to the closure of grounds in both the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. The Blacks were to travel to Nowra to take on the Blues but those games will be null and void due to the entire round being declared a washout. The Blacks will now be at home to Bomaderry this weekend for Round 15 matches, looking for some vital competition points.

Blacks In A Thriller

Port took on the Albatross Demons on Saturday at Kully Bay Oval. With windy weather conditions playing a part, the Blacks overcame the fifth-placed Demons in a thriller. With Port looking for only their second victory this season, they battled right until the final siren and got over the line by just three points. Port 6.8-44 def Albatross 5.11-41

Demons Too Strong For Seconds

Albatoss Reserves came to Kully Bay in a similar postion to the Blacks First Grade side. Looking for only their second win for 2011, the Demons proved too strong for Port in the blustery conditions to run out 17 point winners. Albatross 8.20-68 def Port 7.9-51
